The path we walk
like hunters we stalk
the object of devotion
forward, onward, ever in motion
in our own ways
we pass our days
true beauty lies
in the way we live and die
Reach your hands toward the sun
upward and onward, see it done
the strength in letting go
and when we march, the world shall know
all we thought we knew
a swift knife to run it through
as we learn and grow
true wisdom, a newfound glow
a light shines in
casts away all evil sin
no attachment, no aversion
untainted by diversion
reach your hands toward the sky
as a toast to a greater life
a life of golden glory
this is how they'll tell our story

True Abode
04:01
|
|||
With slow decay
all else falls astray
and without being ever asked
losing sight of love & the past
someone's grinning, but it's not you or I
the enemy within gives a bitter war cry
to do as was said, but not as what's done
live in fear while the liars have their fun
with prayers for strength from above
to defend to the end, the love
against the eldritch multitudes
darkest darkness, endless platitudes
will you watch and learn
or face away as our world burns?
may bright stars arise
and stem the tide of this downward demise
and may there be no compromise
with any bargain that evil could devise
and toward this I do pray
that by God we'll have our home one day
and let this be an ode
to that we'll find our heart's true abode
abode
abode
abode
abode

Clear Was the Way
04:34
|
|||
There was a time when we danced
merry in the forest's colourful hues
many shaded leaf and bough
and the sky overhead was blue
So subtle was the magic
and clear was the way
unlike our world so tragic
that we live in today
The Dark Age rears its ugly head
and tears at our souls
if once you find your feet
stay the course and be bold
So subtle was the magic
and clear was the way
unlike our world so tragic
that we live in today
I lay down my weary head to sleep
and wake to see another day
I become lost in thought so deep
and for our world I pray
So subtle was the magic
and clear was the way
unlike our world so tragic
that we live in today

Light of the Heart
03:02
|
|||
Rediscovering that old ground
along the way lost, again found
my mind corrupted, my heart unbeknownst
I was numbed, existence as a ghost
a different level of consciousness
never realised the emptiness
until I did
and to that emptiness, farewell I bid
obsessions destroy us, leave us in the dark
unable to see the light of the heart
all the profane pleasures of the world
can never make you happy, only curl, curl
curl up into a wretched ball
unable to think or stand tall
and slowly decay
a life full of misery and dismay
rise, and see the dawn
a new hope like a sword has been drawn
the sun peeks over the hill once dark
toward the light, hasten and hark
Our love will mend us, bring us to the light
we can choose to be better, choose to fight
all the profane pleasures of the earth
seem insignificant and of little worth

Golden Hour
03:52
|
|||
This could be our golden hour
when the buds begin to flower
here I am and here you are
wish upon that shooting star
truth becomes a sword of steel
cuts through that which isn't real
mist of illusion, cut with a knife
make the most of this precious life
sands of time fall down like leaves
all shall pass and don't you grieve
wipe away all needless tears
life continues far from here
burning embers shaped like eyes
separate the truth from lies
in this solitary place
existence without time or space
this could be our golden hour
when the buds begin to flower
here I am and here you are
wish upon that shooting star

One may fall down
and feel estranged
One may weep and hope
For a day long gone
But remember these words
when doubt takes hold
remember them always
whether young or old
Our torch shines brightly, Now and forever
though we may die, forever and always
till eternity's end
now and always
though we may perish
Always and ever
One may feel lost
and like a black sheep
One may feel tired
and ready to sleep
that final sleep
that all mortals will live to see
Stand up, my brother, my sister
and look me in the eye when I say
Our torch shines brightly, Now and forever
though we may die, forever and always
till eternity's end
now and always
though we may perish
Always and ever
Walk among the roses
smell all the scents
gaze toward the Heavens
when your energy is spent
Look up at the stars
and imagine yourself
shining, in the darkness
as a beacon of hope
One may seek Truth
and fail to find
One may sit in silence
and leave all illusion behind
One may find their path
in giving themselves
and embracing the struggle
in these dark times of ours
Our torch shines brightly, Now and forever
though we may die, forever and always
till eternity's end
now and always
though we may perish
Always and ever

When all the bustle lies down to die
what's etched in eternity never lies
and all the karma that collects
must run its course, nevertheless
It's a sure thing now
silence calls "my friend sit down"
remember me to remember yourself
the subtle peace when all is said (& done)
seeking peaks while looking to the ground
seeking wisdom where none can be found
seeking truth in the valley of deception
shall we seek death in the bosom of life?
It's a sure thing now
silence calls "my friend sit down"
remember me to remember yourself
the subtle peace when all is said (& done)
snatch a breath and dive into peril
jump into the jaws of the endless strife
crashing and burning, the world keeps turning
does the possessor possess, or is he possessed?

Spectacular vision,
Gone before it starts,
Time of great division,
The great Prince departs.
There’s none to replace,
Proud lineage,
They arrive to deface,
This unclaimed vestige.
Profound inspiration,
Halls to decorate,
Eons of tradition,
They appropriate.
Deriding all resolve,
Shady and corrupt,
Sacred customs dissolve,
Meant to deconstruct.
Insulting the heavens,
Arrogantly proud,
Lasting only seconds,
A shattering sound.
Galaxies awaken,
On their starry steeds,
Warriors unshaken,
Thundering stampedes.
Wielding his cosmic blade,
The great Prince arrives,
Banishing this charade,
The enemy dies.

Sacred Nobility
05:59
|
|||
Let the riders all come home
let the blade rend flesh from bone
real justice shall they bring
falsehoods pummeled to nothing
man and woman, hail the dawn
a foundation, build upon
what once was lost is won
creatures reach to linger on
maps and borders warp and change
but the holy law remains
the noble few, aristocrats
of the soul and of the blood
raise the masses, raise the flags
raise the sword and with it stand
bring it down and tear asunder
wield the hammer, call the thunder
hear the drums of war ring out
hear the men, they call and shout
for the king to break the curse
for the next life, we shall rehearse
and after all, this bitter fight
hope's new beacon shall alight
what's destroyed is now remade
the debt of blood is now repaid

Resistance Is Fertile
03:27
|
|||
With clarity and honour we go
hand in hand and with love to show
our garden we'll plant right here
this little act shall bring us near
to our goal, and to our dream
to meet our every need
and cast out what's unimportant
and live upright, uncontorted
two parts of a whole united as one
holy union divided by none
aura of light in a world so dark
carry the flame, warm the hearts of the stark
unseen magic waves and winds
pervades, wraps around, and binds
one soul to another intertwine
side by side may we enter Vanaheim
