When all the bustle lies down to die
what's etched in eternity never lies
and all the karma that collects
must run its course, nevertheless
It's a sure thing now
silence calls "my friend sit down"
remember me to remember yourself
the subtle peace when all is said (& done)
seeking peaks while looking to the ground
seeking wisdom where none can be found
seeking truth in the valley of deception
shall we seek death in the bosom of life?
It's a sure thing now
silence calls "my friend sit down"
remember me to remember yourself
the subtle peace when all is said (& done)
snatch a breath and dive into peril
jump into the jaws of the endless strife
crashing and burning, the world keeps turning
does the possessor possess, or is he possessed?

Excellent medieval folk, IGR, & those with ears to hear. I love the sense of mysticism and deep, introspective ponder this album conveys, & the honest down-to-earth folky lyrics. Simply wonderful yet soulfully rich. Highlights for me are tracks 2, 5, 6, & 12. IGR truly capture what I feel is an authentic sense of a medieval bard at a woodland rill pondering the mysteries of life. Highly recommended. 8.5+/10. Alrihkh

L'envoûtement est bien au rendez-vous. Écouter cet album, c'est se plonger dans un état méditatif, empreint de profondeur, de gravité et, peut-être, d' un peu de mélancolie. 5/5 baudelagon
